Do you need calm and peace ? This calming painting was inspired by a lock down walk, me the dog and my teenage daughter went on our daily walk past this lovely small silver birch woodland.
I then found out the meaning of birch trees; As the birch is a pioneer species this gives it a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings and growth. It's a sacred tree within the mythology of the Celts and is thought to have very protective influences.
This painting was an image of what was happening not only to me but in the whole world, I couldn't see it at the time.
