Over two action-packed days, children will explore a range of exciting art activities, including painting, printing, sculpture, and drawing. What we’ll create:
9th April in Crich & 15th April in Ripley:
🎨 Mini Canvas Painting - "My Window" Inspired by David Hockney
Children will create their own vibrant "My Window" painting, taking inspiration from the colorful works of renowned artist David Hockney. They'll use bright colors and creative thinking to bring their own window view to life.
🖼️ Collograph Flower Printing
Kids will learn the fascinating technique of collograph printing, making beautiful textured prints of flowers. It's a wonderful way to combine creativity with an introduction to printmaking!
8th April Ripley, 16th April in Crich
🐰 Clay Sculpting - Easter Rabbits
Working with clay, children will sculpt their own adorable Easter rabbits, learning basic techniques of shaping and modelling. The perfect way to bring a bit of Easter cheer to their artwork!
✏️ Pen and Ink Drawing - Sheep or Chicks
Children will get to work on fine detail and shading with pen and ink, drawing either fluffy sheep or playful chicks. It’s a great way to develop their drawing skills while having fun!
